Last Exhibition Reflection

For the last few weeks I have been preparing for exhibition night and day. The exhibition came and I was so excited but scared at the same time. My global issue means something to me because I love animals and I never want any of them to be hurt and I also want humans and animals to have equal rights. At the exhibition night I did a live dance at he start of the whole exhibition! lots of people came to our stand that night we had 47 people come to our stall which were mainly adults. On the exhibition day we had counted all the people in total and In total we had 211 people come to our stand, the day was much harder than the night because in the day it was when all of students/classes came and the hardest were probably the younger ones because they would just come and have one look for 5 seconds then they would leave, [that happened with some of the year 4’s and 6’s as well] but I think I could have caught there attention a bit better by giving them less confusing information, also it hard for me to quickly finish a fact sheet on the day of the setting up for the exhibition but in my perspective I think I managed that very well. I think I have learnt a lot more that I thought I would on the very first day I started the exhibition, also I learnt new things along the way, some of those things were tiny little details but they actually meant a lot to our environment. I think I did well in the exhibition and I could not be happier of how may people I had at my stall and I was also happy about the new things I learnt, all I have left is a few more little details on my action then the year 5 PYP exhibition will be done!

I was waiting outside my classroom looking at my class being desperate for someone to open the door, to be truthful they did look like a bunch of begging puppies. Then I got sick of waiting then I pulled out my half-chewed, bright yellow pencil. I got my book as well and started to draw a picture of a boat reminding me of my old boat I had years ago BOOM! My pencil was flying away! “My pencil went somewhere,” I said. “But where did it go?” She shouted. Then the door opened we all barged in like a heard of elephants but then it was math time! UHHHHHHHHHHH!

100 word challenge T4W1

It was morning and i went to the beach there was a few bricks blocking the stairs to get to the sand and my feet were burning! I looked at the bricks with my face thinking of what to to do. I called to a stranger over near the kiosk but he didn’t here me so tried to pick it up my self. OMG, IT WAS HEAVIER THAN I EXPECTED! So there i was standing there like a complete idiot looking at These non heavy bricks, but they were actually really heavy so i finely decided to climb over them.

100 wc [ exhibition]

Once in the cold winter streets a puppy has been abused and thrown out on the streets. It is desperate for food, water and a loving owner, then it found a bicycle laying against a shooting centre wall. The cold puppy crawls over to the bicycle and the keeps try’s to keep itself warm. Sooner or later that day the shop closes, a man comes out to get his bike but when he moved it to the side the puppy laying there. The man greedily took the puppy off the ground, the man straight away warned the animal welfare group!

Last exhibiton reflection of the term!

At the moment in exhibition it is our last sessions for the term,I am trying to finish my info texts and my media arts video before the term ends. I would also like to finish my 2nd poem for exhibition.
Wee also had to make a 100 wc about our exhibition with a group of spesific words that we have to add in to the story, if you want to read my 100 wc you can go back on my main page and you will find it. My group and I are going pretty good but we don’t really know where each other are in exhibition. Our dance is just about done and all we have to do now is finish the term!

Exhibition Reflection

This week has been a good week, I have finished my first information text and edited it as well, I had to edit my draft because the text was on the left side of the page so then I tried transfer the text to the middle but then the text ended up on the right side of the page so then I had to edit it again and with the help of one of the teachers I finally put the text in the middle of the page, when I put the text in the middle of the page I had to delete a picture so I could move references to that spot where the picture that I deleted was and after that all I had to do is make the title bigger and I did, now I’m on to my 2nd information text. One of the teachers gave us a check list so now we can tick when we are done with things. We are also writing a poem about our topic, I haven’t started the poem but I have found an animal welfare poem of the internet. I also have one more thing to talk about which is our media arts video, I have done my speech over the top and all I have to now is credits. I hope I get everything done in time!

100 Word Challenge #2

I was walking down the street when I saw two statues standing in front of my eyes, they both looked like they were from back in the day.
I was interested so I put down a note about it then I walked off. I got home and I heard something banging from the basement so I walked carefully and quietly down the stairs just in case something creepy was waiting there. I reached the bottom of the stairs then I saw it was the statues standing there, both of them. I was terrified so I ran for great dear life.

Finding out

This week I went really well because no one in my group missed out on exhibition time. I have been looking at animal welfare videos and writing down the keywords. I have finished my third line of inquiry research at first I was rushing to get it done then I calmed my self down and still got my 3rd line of inquiry about finished.

Sorting out

Then I got into the sorting out stage and I wrote down on the sheet the most important research that I had in each line of inquiry 1,2,3. I looked at them and I thought they were good enough but then the next day I went back to it and I thought I had to add on so I went on a website and put down information, then put the key words down on my sorting out sheet then I thought it was finished.

Going further

Then I got to the going further stage. Once I was finished with my sorting out, I looked at my lines of inquiry and went I got to the 3rd one I thought that I had to take it a bit further. I went onto the internet and found a website that gave me good information so I wrote down the keywords [some sentences] and put it on to my research sheet and then put the best information on to my sorting out sheet, then I went back to videos on animals welfare. Bye bye!
